Moriarty, reconstructed family of multiple secrets, takes place on stage like they would in a hotel room. An intimate story weaves itself between the sensitive diva, the malicious harmonica player, the inspired guitarist, the mysterious upright bass player, the enlightened string lover and the hybrid drums. It's sort of a tale of disappearance, an enigma to solve, where the public leads the investigation, without ever really untangling the threads of a blues-tinged folk, americana and unknown music.

Autobiography
1980: It all started like a joke! A band of childhood friends, some of us American others from Peru, Vietnam and Switzerland, all growing up in Paris, France. We meet at the park building castles made of sand.
1999: The turn of the century sting. We realize we can actually play music together. The problem is that we don't like the same music. While Thomas and Arthur name "a man and the blues (Buddy Guy and Otis Spann) as one of our favorite albums of all times, Zim drinks Dvorak, Debussy and The Cure in place of milk, Rosemary sings American folk songs with her father in the American church in Paris and Charles works out most of the Philip Glass and Rolling Stones repertoire on guitar
2007 - 2008: First LP Gee Whiz but this is a lonesome town released in UK, France, Germany, most of Europe, Japan, and Australia, will sell over 170.000 copies worldwide. We write the music all together basically jamming the lyrics are written by one or the other or two of us or sometimes all of us.
2007 - 2010: Lonesome town tour: 300 shows in over 20 countries. Jesus we were down on our knees at the end of that but how many people and places met...good material for writing new songs (i.e. India was a pretty strong fuel!).
2011: New songs put together in The missing room produced and recorded in Paris, France by our drummer Vincent who also produced the bands Don Cavalli and Mustang (we recommend!). The songs talk about: waiting for a lover in Taipei, being dead and not knowing it all while drinking a decaf, dark lines in the middle of hope, selling candy cane, little girl's nightmares and the true story of Sean Sellers, America's youngest death row inmate, executed in 1999. Artwork is homemade by Zim.
We also set up our own label called Air Rytmo for safer travels in the music industry. And THAT feels GOOD.
2012: Preparing for the end of the world. We will explore the roots of Bob Dylan by playing at the Cité de la Musique in Paris a 1 night only collection of songs (by blind lemon Jefferson, Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams, Blind Willie Johnson, The carter family, and of course Woody Guthrie)
