Mama Rosin is Cyril Yeterian (melodeon, voice, guitar, fiddle), Robin Girod (guitar, voice, banjo, washboard) and Xavier Bray (drums and percussions). The band’s name comes from a Cajun song. The boys fell in love with Cajun music (groove folk / blues typical of Western Louisiana) after listening to a lot of rock music during their adolescence and becoming tired of amplified music in favor of roots-ier music. Since its foundation about 8 years ago, Mama Rosin left their mark everywhere they’ve been with their Cajun accented rock’n’roll, garage and blues beats. They’ve defended the smallest bars to the biggest international festivals stages (Glastonbury, Paléo, FrancoFolies, Transmusicales, etc).
