BEYRIES shares maman for Mother’s Day

Today BEYRIES unveils maman, the first original song she ever wrote, just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday. The Montreal singer-songwriter created this piece in honour of her mother. The song was produced by Alex Mc Mahon (who plays piano on the track), and Mathieu Désy (bass), Guillaume Doiron (acoustic guitar) and Antoine Gratton (string arrangements, performed by Quatuor Esca) also contributed to this moving gift. Maman is available now on all digital platforms.

Listen and share the song maman via Youtube.

BEYRIES’ career has seen considerable success in a very short period of time, and on September 15th the self-taught musician will play the legendary venue Club Soda. Tickets are available online. She will provide musical accompaniment during the yoga classes of the Lolë White Tour, an unmissable event for yoga lovers, on July 27th in Toronto and on August 12 at Quai Jacques-Cartier du Vieux-Port in Montréal. BEYRIES is also part of this year's Festival d'été de Québec line-up on July 16th. Finally, the artist will open for K.D. Lang at the Grand Théâtre de Québec on September 3rd as part of her Ingénue Redux tour.

BEYRIES released her debut record Landing in February 2017. In its first week, Landing shot to #1 on the Quebec album charts and #7 on the Canadian charts. After her performance to a sold-out crowd at Quebec’s Petit Champlain, Le Soleil’s Nicolas Houle described her voice as unwavering, which delivers feeling with ease. The result is soft, intense music that is both touching and powerful.
