Irreverend James and the Critical Mass Choir are a secular, rabble-rousing, barn-burning, queer-positive, feminist, subversive gospel music band. The spirit and verve of old-time Gospel music fit with a modern script. They offer, through this uniquely uplifting form of expression and barn-burning live performances, the joyful and spiritually rewarding experience of the religious mass and make it available to atheists and theists alike.
