Biography

Écarlate is a trio from Moncton composed of Clémence Langlois, Daphnée McIntyre, and Samuel LeBlanc. Awarded at Accros de la chanson, at the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, and recognized as semifinalists at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, they captivate audiences with music that is both luminous, poetic, and powerful. Their first EP Fleur de peau (2023), produced by Benoit Morier (Lisa LeBlanc), earned them the “Recording of the Year” award at the Prix Music NB. With their album Coup de soleil (2025), produced by Katrine Noël and Mico Roy (Les Hay Babies, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire), Écarlate showcases a distinctive sound blending rich vocal harmonies, modern folk energy, and pop sensibility.
