Friends for almost 15 years, Les sœurs Boulay & Elliot Maginot began their careers side by side. The years have tossed them around quite a bit, but they have never parted ways, forging a bond almost like that of siblings. Complex little creatures, full of humor and contradictions, they wanted, at this stage in their careers, to return to the beginning: to make music for the love of it.

Friends for almost 15 years, and once roommates at 4488 de l’amour, Les sœurs Boulay & Elliot Maginot began their careers side by side. Back then, as the sisters were just starting out, Maginot was putting up show posters to make ends meet. He then started opening for their shows, until he had to stop to go on his own tours—like a grown-up! The years have tossed them around quite a bit since then, but they have never parted ways, forging a bond today resembling a family connection—for better or worse.
Complex little creatures, full of humor, self-mockery, and contradictions, this three-headed monster trio wanted, at this stage in their careers, to return to the beginning: to make music for the love of it and for the joy of being together. They will reunite on stage to reminisce: that apartment, that kitchen table, that tiny back balcony, that basement littered with old cigarette butts, and those bottles drunk too quickly. To dive back into their tentative, sometimes awkward, but never dull beginnings. And to remember, above all, the songs that shaped them and brought them together—both from their own repertoires and from the traditions of songwriters, chansoniers, and pop stars. They will be heard in a stripped-down version, with three voices and a few small acoustic instruments.
