Charming audiences everywhere for over two years with their orchestral indie pop songs, Groenland will take on Europe once again this spring. The band, led by Sabrina Halde and Jean-Vivier Lévesque, has many shows scheduled in Germany and will also perform in Paris, at The Great Escape festival in Brighton, UK, as well as at the London Calling festival in Amsterdam, NL.
Needless to say, these days the sextet is drawing attention from everyone: Apple has chosen their song Our Hearts Like Gold for an iPad ad narrated by none other than Martin Scorsese. The spot was first broadcast during the Academy Awards last Sunday. Represented by the music licensing and publishing company Third Side Music, the band’s music has also been placed in TV shows The Good Wife (CBS) and Les beaux malaises (TVA), as well as a Canadian iPhone/Bell ad.
