Co-written and produced with Pavel Navarro and featuring arrangements by Félix Paul (Rau_Ze), the track stands as a mark of maturity while maintaining a sense of freshness in the artist’s sound.
Colin Léo is a Montreal-based singer, songwriter, and performer who blends hip-hop, pop and R&B sounds. He merges his rap writing skills with themes and structures rooted in Quebec’s folk and alternative styles. Growing up in a highly artistic family, he spent much of his teenage years playing his favorite Karkwa and James Blake songs on the piano. Today, Colin Léo draws inspiration from artists like Mac Miller, Luidji, Ariane Roy and Kendrick Lamar—musicians who craft songs in a way that allows them to breathe, move, and strike at just the right moments.

In the spring of 2024, he released Becs & Bobos, marking the beginning of Colin Léo and signaling the artistic direction he is taking in the music scene. A true bridge between sensitivity, acceptance, beauty, and rawness, Becs & Bobos unfolds like a long ride through grief, love, unease, and resilience. It embraces the idea that some things won’t heal at the pace we wish, yet we move forward nonetheless.
One year later, Colin Léo released Rideaux blancs, a direct extension of his previous EP. The song gives shape to what we are willing to change for someone else in a relationship. With its indie, pop, and rap influences, it offers a bright perspective on love and draws us into the artist’s intimate world. Colin was later invited to open for artists such as The Brown Family and Clay and Friends, and to participate in the 30th edition of Les Francouvertes in 2026.
