Encouraged by the support, she released a compilation of full covers in 2021, followed by her first original songs in 2022. In May 2024, she unveiled her EP Here., and on April 11, 2025, she will release The Committee, her debut EP of original songs, produced by Connor Seidel (Matt Holubowski, Half Moon Run, Charlotte Cardin, Claudia Bouvette).

Currently based out of her hometown of Montreal, Marianne Beaulieu is an indie folk singer-songwriter whose goal has always been to bring comfort through her music. From the age of 5, she started learning the piano, before taking singing classes in her teenage years and teaching herself the guitar. She soon learns to use music as an outlet and as a means to silence the world and sing her troubles away.
In 2019, inspired by artists like Noah Kahan, Bon Iver and Gracie Abrams, she decides to start sharing covers of her favorite songs on social media. During the lockdown, she finds herself at her piano, singing everyday and filming every other day. Through her platforms, she swiftly draws in an audience all seeking a sense of relief. From then on, she’s able to build a community cumulating hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world, all eager to take a breather and listen.
Pleasantly surprised by the level of support for her videos, she releases in 2021 her first compilation of covers, hereby allowing her audience to listen to the complete versions of her most popular covers. The following year, she shares her first original songs, which marks her debut as a singer-songwriter. in May 2024, Marianne unveils an EP entitled Here., aiming to offer a soothing, comforting experience to her fans. This EP namely features her cover of Je te laisserai des mots by Patrick Watson, which had already reached millions of listens on her social media platforms.
On April 11, 2025, she will unveil The Committee, her first EP of original songs, which was produced by Connor Seidel (Matt Holubowski, Half Moon Run, Charlotte Cardin, Claudia Bouvette). Together, they have crafted a mini-album that stays true to the artist’s pop-folk sound, preserving the simplicity of her voice and harmonies, as well as the acoustic and soothing essence of her music. The Committee explores the dilemmas we face when trying to find our place in the world, a reality that has deeply resonated with Marianne over the past few years. Through these songs, she hopes to inspire others to make those tough decisions and follow their own path.
