Philippe B at the Cinquième salle (Place des Arts) on October 17th

Following a sold-out album launch show at Phi Centre, Philippe B announces a concert at the Cinquième salle de la Place des Arts (in Montreal) on October 17th. In addition to songs from his latest album, La grande nuit vidéo, the singer-songwriter, accompanied by two musicians, will also perform tunes from his previous records. This concert will be presented in other cities across the province this fall (see dates below). In the meantime, Philippe B will play shows at the Festif! in Baie-St-Paul on July 22nd and at FME in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Released on May 12th via Bonsound, La grande nuit vidéo is one of 40 albums long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize. On this new LP, Philippe B explores the human connection with fiction through the paradigm of a couple, in which the female character is personified by the voice of Laurence Lafond-Beaulne (Milk & Bone).
