Bouncy and breathless, Saint Loreto is a jubilant, blown-out banger with a hard analog feel, borrowing as much from early techno as it does from vintage R&B. Thinking about the nature of pop and how it was pioneered in the 80s by artists using synths and primitive drum machines, Christian Sean wanted to pay respect to that organic electronic approach in the studio and make his own version of a pure pop song. Beneath its vibrant surface, Saint Loreto carries a deeper emotional core. Lyrically, the track explores the climb out from isolation toward human connection, and how the comfort of too much solitude can leave you stunted.
