Yes Mccan unveils Over, the 3rd single off his upcoming album OUI (tout, tout, tout, toutttte)
Yes Mccan (Jean-François Ruel) unveils his song Over, following his singles Forêts and Désirée (first heard in 2018’s popular Quebec TV series Fugueuse in which he played the role of pimp Damien). A bold pop track, more so than anything he’s previously released, Over is accompanied by a video directed by Martin C. Pariseau that stars Yes Mccan on a film set. Over, Forêts and Désirée are off his debut solo album, OUI (tout, tout, tout, toutttte), to be released on August 31st via Make It Rain Records.
Co-produced by Yes Mccan, Ruffsound and Yen Dough, with the help of beatmaker vxnyl on certain songs, OUI (tout, tout, tout, toutttte) is both concise and eclectic, and features collaborations with Ogee Rodman (Dead Obies), Caballero & JeanJass, Rowjay and Cape Tula. Yes Mccan’s early fans will find what they’re looking for on rap tracks like Money Convos and Slick Rick, while other pop-sounding songs (Over, Près de moi) will please new audiences. The final product is consistent with the album artwork - sunny, colourful, without any filters - and marks the beginning of a new chapter for Yes Mccan.
