Regardless of the artistic medium, Claudia Bouvette's message is one of empowerment and freedom to be oneself. Her work encourages openness and the courage to assert and reveal one's true self.
Born in Bromont, Claudia Bouvette now lives and works in Montreal. The singer-songwriter has always been passionate about music. After a remarkable stint in television (Mixmania 2, Jérémie, etc.), she returned to her first love in 2019 and released the EP Cool It which features danceable electronic songs that borrow as much from hip-hop as from high-level pop. Gwen Stefani’s influence is noticeable, both in the music and in the way she delivers her message, as well as in her desire for assertion and her raw feminine strength. The eight tracks from the EP caught on and the young artist quickly made a name for herself, as she started racking up streams (now sitting at over 10 million across platforms). She also strengthened her precious relationship with her fans on social media, convinced that, beyond the music itself, an artist must create a parallel connection with the public, a more intimate and personal bond.
The next two years allowed her the time to perfect her songwriting and music production techniques. Both wounded and inspired by the tumultuous relationships of recent years, Claudia drew on her distress and desire to regain control of her life to put into words what would become the core of her forthcoming album. Along with her long-time collaborator Connor Seidel, she co-wrote and co-produced the vast majority of the 14 tracks that make up her first full-length, The Paradise Club. The duo worked hard for nearly 6 months in order to refine the album’s style, where electronic and acoustic components meet with pop music. Esteemed contributors such as Emma Beko, KodakLudo, Les Louanges, Caulder Nash and DCF came to support them along the way.

The singer also went on to open for Ne-Yo at the Festival des Montgolfières and Sean Paul at Soif de Musique. In 2022, Claudia graced the cover of Elle Québec magazine, and made appearances on the small screen on numerous occasions, as a performer, co-host and actress.
Now at peace with her emotionally-charged past and the songs that arose from it on The Paradise Club, she approached the creation of a second album with the ability of letting go. This feeling of serenity led her to trust the magic that happens in the studio when you're in the right place at the right time. DIARY FOR THE LONELY HEARTS, released in fall 2024, is the result of Claudia and Soran's creative chemistry. Propelled by the aesthetics of No Doubt, The Japanese House or Imogen Heap, the artist took a thoughtful look at a range of issues that she had to face in recent years, and deployed catchy grooves carried by renewed energy.
