BEYRIES x Grey’s Anatomy: hear her cover of To Love Somebody in tonight’s episode
Today, BEYRIES releases her single To Love Somebody on all music services. While she and Pierre Marchand (who produced all of Sarah McLachlan’s studio albums since 1991’s Solace) were in a studio session working on original material, the two had the idea to record a stripped-down version of the Bee Gees classic. It’s a song that I’ve always loved, and that I’ve performed a few times in concert, explains BEYRIES. Her moving cover of To Love Somebody is synched in tonight’s episode of the American TV series Grey’s Anatomy, airing on ABC and CTV at 9pm ET.
Released last November, BEYRIES' sophomore album Encounter has already garnered 2 million plays on streaming services. The album is available now on vinyl, CD and all digital music services.
After selling over 2000 tickets for a virtual concert presented by Montreal’s Place des Arts in January, BEYRIES is finally able to head out on the road in her home province of Quebec to present her new album in front of audiences. Accompanied by three musicians, she will play shows in Brossard, Drummondville, Shawinigan and Terrebonne over the next few weeks.
