Claudia Bouvette stuns in her new music video for Douchebag and unveils details for the release of her debut album, The Paradise Club

Claudia Bouvette addresses reconciliation with oneself following a painful relationship on her new single Douchebag. Exploring the post-apocalyptic period when we finally manage to detach ourselves, to see clearly and to become aware of our self-worth, the liberating mid-tempo earworm delivers its message with lyrics reflecting a half-bitter, half-sarcastic state of mind. The singer-songwriter also announces that her first full-length album, The Paradise Club, will be released on May 20th 2022.

This new track is accompanied by a beautiful music video directed by Soleil Denault. It recounts the story of a person who finally breaks free from the feelings that prevent her from seeing clearly in her relationships and who regains her power in a burst of transformation and strength. Douchebag, which the director explains is a pure expression of healing and empowerment, comes to life through Claudia’s glowing newfound confidence, dressed in looks that inspire a strong, assertive femme fatale, which echoes the spirit of the song.
