Claudia Bouvette unveils new single CALL ME BACK !
Claudia Bouvette is kicking off the summer with CALL ME BACK !, a sun-kissed pop tune co-written with singer-songwriter Soran.
Filled with playful guitar riffs, the track tackles one of the most common issues in dating: why won't the other person call me back? Miles away from a lament or complaint, the song poses a series of amused questions that grapple with a general feeling of inadequacy in the face of the unknown.
Claudia's silky vocals meld seamlessly with the upbeat rhythms, recalling the sunny melodies of Empire of the Sun or The Japanese House. “I'm not in love / I'm just a little head over heels / Tongue tied / On a bittersweet souvenir / Yeah that night died out but usually / They call me back to see me again,” she sings over Soran’s skilful instrumentation.
To complement the release of CALL ME BACK !, Claudia Bouvette presents a music video she directed herself, with her collaborator Samuel Olaechea, during a trip to Mexico.
