Claudia Bouvette unveils new single SILVER LINING and announces the release of her sophomore album DIARY FOR THE LONELY HEARTS

Following the singles CALL ME BACK !, W.O.W.Y. and DON'T WANNA HEAR THAT SONG ANYMORE, Claudia Bouvette now announces the release of her sophomore album, DIARY FOR THE LONELY HEARTS, out on October 25th, 2024. The Montreal-based singer-songwriter also unveils her latest single SILVER LINING, an upbeat alt-pop track.

Oozing vitality and hope, this song is an invitation to take a chance and jump without hesitation. The cold cold water won't get any warmer if you jump in later, sings Claudia before reaching the track's climax. As its title suggests, SILVER LINING is a powerful reminder that even when a difficult situation arises, we can still make the best of it by focusing on the little things in front of us.

Built on straightforward, heartbeat-like drums, subtle guitar and bass, and intoxicating, bold keyboard lines, the track brings together various electronic vibes to paint a portrait of life that is fast, changing, and pervasive.

DIARY FOR THE LONELY HEARTS follow-ups her first album The Paradise Club, released on Bonsound in 2022. This latest album is a collaboration between Claudia Bouvette and singer-songwriter Soran, who co-produced it. In the wake of rejection, heartbreak, abandonment and insecurity, the pair weave a benevolent response to these challenges, in order to face the future with serenity. Driven by the aesthetics of the early 2000s, Claudia Bouvette rekindles her early musical loves, delving into the creative spaces of No Doubt and Imogen Heap, without shying away from her electro and hip-hop influences.
