Claudia Bouvette unveils new single W.O.W.Y., an empowering call to let go

Following the release of the sun-kissed single CALL ME BACK !, Montreal-based artist Claudia Bouvette returns with W.O.W.Y., available today on all music services.

Like a heartfelt farewell letter, W.O.W.Y., short for With Or Without You, is the final act in a love story that was grand enough to leave behind no resentment or hostility. On this song, co-written with singer-songwriter Soran, Claudia Bouvette delves into the roots of early 2000s pop music, drawing strokes that evoke the spirit of No Doubt, a band that shaped her youth.

Don't you know I wish you well, my love, she declares repeatedly in the pulsating ballad's chorus. I know that it's ok, my love, she adds, convinced that offering an olive branch is exactly what she needs to emerge stronger on the other side.

To complement the release, Claudia Bouvette unveils a self-directed music video shot during a trip in Mexico. Showcasing beautiful sunsets and romantic scenes filmed with a camcorder, the video is a throwback to the days before social media, when memories remained on film.
