Dead Obies unveil Run Away, the 1st single off their upcoming album

After taking a few months off, Dead Obies are back with Run Away, the first single off their upcoming third studio album, DEAD., to be released on February 15th, 2019 via Bonsound. Run Away is a return to our initial instincts with a more solemn perspective in the lyrics that reflects our current state of mind, explain Dead Obies. On the new track, producer VNCE CARTER’s arrangements compliment the live instrumentations recorded by Jean-Michel Frédéric (keys) and Mark Alan Haynes (bass). The empowering piano chords round out the 4 MCs’ (Joe Rocca, 20some, Snail Kid and Ogee Rodman) fully developed skills.

Run Away is accompanied by a video, directed by Romain F. Dubois, which follows a teenager who refuses to return home. Watch and share the video for Run Away via YouTube.
The single is out now on all music platforms.

The 13-date DEAD. Tour kicks off on February 28th, 2019 in Chicoutimi, and culminates in Montreal on April 26th at MTELUS. See dates below or on deadobies.com.
