Dead Obies unveil the video for Explosif

Dead Obies will end their 2016 XXXPLOSIF Tour this week with three sold-out shows, presented by Chic Choc. Recently back from their second tour in France, the winners of the 2016 Espoir FEQ prize will perform tonight at Impérial Bell in Quebec City, on Friday at Club Soda in Montreal, and on Saturday at Minotaure in Gatineau. French rapper Georgio, whose new album dropped on November 4th, will open for the band on all three dates. Dead Obies’ Montreal fans can already purchase tickets for their Métropolis show on September 14th, 2017.

To highlight the end of the XXXPLOSIF Tour, Dead Obies have released a music video - the sixth off their album Gesamtkunstwerk released on March 4th earlier this year - for Explosif. Directed by Vinoth Varatharajan (Rococo), the video follows each member of the group as they wander through the streets of Montreal at night.
