Encore presentation! Philippe B and the Molinari Quartet at Montréal en Lumière

As part of Montréal en Lumière, Philippe B will present Variations fantômes from A to Z, accompanied by the renowned Molinari Quartet. Indeed, the sampling pedals will take a day off on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.

This meeting of the minds between the Quatuor Molinari and Philippe will be a unique one-time event, a "deluxe" version of the songs from Variations fantômes.

The samplings of Vivaldi, Schubert, Tchaikovsky etc...that are found in the singer-songwriter's songs will be replaced by live instrumentation, embodied by the Quatuor Molinari as well as harp, oboe, flute, trombone, upright bass, percussions and two sopranos. This melding of two musical worlds will be brought to life in an intimate and ghostly setting.
