Les Louanges unveils one more single before releasing new album Alouette! this Friday
On Correct, the final single off his new album, Les Louanges proves once again that music has the power to make us both dance and introspect. His third effort, Alouette!, is out via Bonsound this Friday (April 10th) on digital, vinyl, and CD.
Driven by carefully crafted arrangements and a Talking Heads-esque rhythm section, the multi-instrumentalist wastes no time in getting to the catchy, timeless chorus, making Correct an instant classic from his repertoire.
We live in a world where our sense of humanity is challenged every day and where violence is everywhere, says Les Louanges. Some people profit from the fragile social context, and we need to move forward together—even if we’re yelling at each other. Ultimately, humans are simple creatures; we want to be respected, we want to provide for ourselves, and we want to feel safe. These are the needs I’m referring to when I sing: si t'es correct / moi chu correct (if you're OK / I am OK).
Following the announcement of a 20+ date tour across Quebec and Europe, Les Louanges has announced an additional Montreal show (on December 5th, 2026, at Olympia), a third date in Paris (on February 3rd, 2027, at La Gaieté Lyrique), and several festival dates this summer, including at the FEQ, Le Festif!, and La Noce.
