Milk & Bone unveil a video for the song KIDS

Since the release of Deception Bay in February 2018, Milk & Bone won a JUNO, performed alongside Lorde and released DIVE, a collaborative EP with famed producer Alex Lustig. Needless to point out that the girls haven’t slowed down at all in the past year. To top a list of critically acclaimed singles off Deception Bay, they’re now releasing a video for the song KIDS. The video was created thanks to the generous support of the MVP Project, a joint initiative of RBCxMusic and the Prism Prize (administered by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television).

Once again, Camille and Laurence entrusted the video direction to their long-time collaborator Soleil Denault. The director opposes the carelessness and innocence played out in the lyrics to well-thought-out visuals: the calculated camera shifts, the lines that seamlessly curve and swerve throughout the video, the choreography. Through opposite yet complementary aesthetics and the bodies effortlessly melting into one another, the images draw out a meticulous dance.
