Misc unveils a second live performance for Messenger

Messenger (from the album Misery is a Butterfly by Blonde Redhead) was suggested by bassist Philippe Leduc, and was quickly added to their repertoire after some exploration. They love to perform this song because of its great vigor and for the variation of intensity it suggests. Philippe Leduc about Messenger: A cover is like a recipe that we try to transform by adding and removing some ingredients. For this one, we felt that we could give it our own personal twist.

Pianist Jérôme Beaulieu, drummer William Côté and bass player Philippe Leduc will perform during the Montreal International Jazz Festival for a third time on July 2nd at L’Astral. To play during the Montreal Jazz Fest is always a great experience for us, we are super excited to be back to perform songs off our new album! - Jérôme Beaulieu.

Misc will then fly off to France for a series of shows in July.
