Philippe B releases Nouvelle administration, his first album in six years

Nouvelle administration, Philippe B's sixth opus, is now available on vinyl, CD and digital formats! Inspired by his new role as a father and the events that have marked his life in recent years, Philippe B offers a sensitive album focused on the changing dynamics and cycles of life, in which the pronouns "you" and "we" acquire entirely new meanings. At the helm of the album's arrangements, mixing and production, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist brings back his simple guitar compositions and more complex string arrangements to produce folk songs of varied influences.

Philippe B will celebrate this release with a sold-out show at Studio TD during the Francos de Montréal on June 10th. He will be playing at more festivals this summer, notably the Festival de la chanson de Tadoussac, Le Festif! and the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée. A tour that will take him across Quebec will follow this fall and in the winter of 2024, including performances at the Gesù in Montreal on November 25th and at the Théâtre Petit Champlain in Quebec City on March 1st, 2024.

Tomorrow, May 27th, Philippe B will be doing a series of intimate performances as part of a mini-tour of Montreal record stores. The day will unfold as follows: 11 a.m. at Le Vacarme, 1:30 p.m. at L’Oblique, 4 p.m. at Aux 33 Tours and 6:30 p.m. at Le 180g.
