Safia Nolin presents the video for Encore

Today, Safia Nolin presents the final installment of her Dans le noir live session: Encore. Shot with a thermal camera and directed by Jean-François Sauvé, this third single-sequence video follows Miroir and Les chemins. Safia performs Encore alongside her acolytes Joseph Marchand and Philippe Brault. The songs Encore, Miroir and Les chemins are off Safia’s new album, Dans le noir, released on October 5th via Bonsound.

Watch and share the video for Encore via YouTube.
The album Dans le noir is out now in stores and on all music services.

The Dans le noir tour officially kicks off this Thursday, October 18th in Montreal at Théâtre Outremont. Accompanied by Marchand on guitar, Safia will also make stops in Quebec City (October 20th at Grand Théâtre), Toronto (October 25th at Burdock) and Ottawa (November 1st at NAC) before flying out to France. The tour will resume in Quebec in February 2019. See dates below or on safianolin.com.

Like with her debut album Limoilou, this new strong collection (Brendan Kelly, The Gazette) of songs deals with the artist’s failed relationships. Each song reads like a polaroid, revealing and bringing pivotal moments to light. The singer-songwriter who has won the Félix for Female Artist of the Year at the 2017 ADISQ Gala, one year after winning the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award, manages to break your heart with each verse she finishes (Holly Gordon, CBC Music). This self-described super depressive style of writing also won her the Prix Félix-Leclerc de la chanson and the SOCAN Breakthrough Award.
