Les Louanges unveils new single ‘La journée va être chaude’ off the upcoming album Alouette!

Les Louanges kicks off 2026 with a bang by releasing La journée va être chaude, a danceable, socially conscious single off of his album Alouette!, due April 10th.

With a wry smile, Les Louanges guides us through this cathartic new anthem, inviting us to dance along his vigorous melodies and groovy rhythms, inspired by artists that were essential to his musical education, such as Parliament-Funkadelic, Sly and the Family Stone, and Prince. Despite its cheerful feel, La journée va être chaude is also a reminder that “the house is burning” and that things are about to get messy, whether we like it or not.

While recording Alouette!, I wanted to convey a sense of energy, to give the impression that the album is a living, breathing, screaming beast... And this song is the perfect example of that, says Vincent Roberge. I*t’s like the kick is the heart; the bass is the veins; and the guitar is the teeth.
