A few months after releasing the song GODDAMN!, Les Louanges today reveals the details of Alouette!, his forthcoming album due out April 10th, 2026, via Bonsound. He also announces a show at L’Olympia in Montreal on December 4th, 2026, preceded by a date at Impérial Bell in Quebec City on November 28th, 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
As a foretaste, Les Louanges unveils Je confirme ma présence, a powerful introduction to this third album. A sort of manifesto about his search for identity and meaning, the track lays the groundwork for the upcoming project and hints at the reflections Vincent Roberge has in store for us, over an instrumentation built from a Suzanne Jacob sample. In just under two minutes, he condemns the absurdity and horrors we are witnessing in a world that is constantly losing touch with reality, all the while proclaiming his desire to exist.
With Alouette!, Les Louanges attempts to make sense of his human condition and Québécois identity by bringing guitars and Joual (the French language dialect spoken in Québec) to the forefront while still fuelling his signature grooves. More rock-oriented than his previous albums, this third effort is luminous yet rich in sounds, emotion and political commentary. It unfolds through a journey that will lead Loulou to encounter universal experiences such as illness, death, and true love.
