Marie Davidson & L'Œil Nu present a remix of their song My Love by Young Marco

Young Marco delivers a stellar remix of Marie Davidson & L'Œil Nu’s My Love. Layering the dreamy, ballad-esque original over a hypnotic beatless groove, it is the latest in a series of remixes to be drawn from their celebrated album Renegade Breakdown released last year on Bonsound and Ninja Tune. It follows recent efforts by Jessy Lanza, Jlin and Morgan Geist—which saw widespread support from the likes of Pitchfork, DJ Mag, Jezebel, PopMatters, The Quietus, FADER, Resident Advisor, Magnetic Mag and many more—with a final remix from Tim Hecker still forthcoming.

The Montreal-based trio formed by Marie Davidson, Pierre Guerineau and Asaël R. Robitaille will be heading out on tour this summer. This includes various festival dates, several shows in the UK and France, as well as concerts at La Tulipe in Montreal on October 8th and the Axis Club in Toronto on October 15th. See below for a complete list of their tour dates and visit marie-davidson.com for more details.

Back in March, the band released their livestream Renegade Breakdown Live, shot and directed by renowned filmmaker Denis Côté, and described by NME as less a livestream gig, more a musical rebirth in their 4/5 review. Renegade Breakdown Live will be screened at the Cinémathèque québécoise on July 3 and 6, 2021.
